SiN: Reloaded PS5 Remaster Due Sept. 24, 2026

Nightdive Studios announced that SiN: Reloaded, a remaster of the 1998 first-person shooter SiN, will release on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and additional platforms. The package includes the original campaign and the Wages of Sin expansion.

Nightdive, operating as a subsidiary of Atari, rebuilt the game using its KEX engine. The studio says the remaster features high-definition textures, updated character models and control schemes adapted for current controllers and systems.

Technical updates include support for up to 4K resolution and a target of 144 frames per second, anti-aliasing and refreshed 2D screens and menu art. Players can toggle between the remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold presentation.

Gameplay follows security consultant Colonel John R. Blade as he confronts Dr. Elexis Sinclaire. Nightdive provided the official plot summary: “When Elexis, CEO of SinTEK Industries, begins injecting the streets with a DNA-altering drug, it’s time to reassess the laws of morality by facing off against Elexis’ unholy army of genetically-engineered mutants.”

The remaster preserves core design elements from the 1998 release, including cinematic sequences, scripted events, non-linear level structure, interactive environments and complex maps with dynamic enemy behavior. Controls and aiming have been adjusted to match modern expectations.

Additional features announced for SiN: Reloaded include new achievements, improved maps and a digital vault of behind-the-scenes material. The studio frames the release as a way to offer both the original experience and an updated presentation for current hardware.
