Skull & Bones on PS Store for $5.99 through May 28

Skull & Bones, Ubisoft’s 2024 PS5 open-world action-adventure, is on the PlayStation Store for $5.99 through May 28, 2026. The regular price is $29.99, making the current discount 80 percent and the lowest digital price to date.

The offer applies only to the PS5 digital edition on the PlayStation Store. Players with PS Plus Extra or Ubisoft+ may have access to the game through those subscription catalogs; buying the title grants permanent ownership if it later leaves a subscription library.

The game launched in 2024 as a live-service title centered on naval combat and ship management. Ubisoft described Skull & Bones as a AAAA production and presented players as pirate captains operating warships across areas such as the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

The game’s official overview reads: “It is the Golden Age of Piracy. Renegade captains command the most powerful weapons on Earth: warships. In Skull and Bones, you are an insatiable, upstart pirate captain who has refused the king’s pardon. Having nothing to lose, you sailed from the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, an exotic and untamed frontier full of lavish riches.”

Skull & Bones received mixed reviews at launch. The current sale is limited to the PlayStation Store edition and ends on May 28, 2026.

Purchasing the game before the sale ends grants permanent ownership; subscription access can end if the game is removed from a catalog.
