Sony launches 40+ free PS Plus Premium trials for Days of Play
Sony is rolling out more than 40 free PS Plus Premium full‑game trials during Days of Play 2026, including Hades, Tunic and Disco Elysium; progress and trophies carry over.
Sony has launched over 40 free PS Plus Premium game trials as part of its Days of Play 2026 promotion. The rollout began in late May and continued into June, with trials appearing in the PS Plus Premium game trials section of the PS App and on PlayStation consoles.
The trials are full-game versions with varying time limits. Saved progress and earned trophies during a trial will transfer if a player purchases the full game. The trials are listed in the Recently Added view of the PS Plus Premium tab; not every promised title was available immediately and Sony has not published a single consolidated list of all entries.
The selection includes indie titles, midmarket releases and larger games across multiple genres. Examples appearing in the trials tab include Hades, Tunic and Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, along with Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Sifu, Inscryption, Sea of Stars, Temtem, Cult of the Lamb and Monster Train 2. Other games visible during the rollout include Toem, Animal Well, Forever Skies, Bugsnax, Satisfactory, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic, Urban Myth Dissolution Center, Unbeatable and The Alters.
Each trial’s duration differs by title; players should check the individual trial page for exact limits and any restrictions. Access to these free trials requires an active PS Plus Premium subscription, the tier that provides full-game trials, cloud streaming for select titles and access to a catalog of games.
Sony’s trials appear to be phased in as part of the Days of Play window. Users looking for the complete set of trials must consult the PS App or a console’s PS Plus Premium trials tab, where Sony is adding titles to the Recently Added list as they go live.
