Sony to Add Destiny 2: Legacy to PS Plus on June 9
Destiny 2: Legacy Collection will be available free to PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers on June 9, Sony announced early as part of Days of Play 2026.
Sony will add Bungie’s Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (PS5, PS4) to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs on Tuesday, June 9. The company posted the early announcement as part of its Days of Play 2026 messaging.
The Legacy Collection is a 2025 edition of Destiny 2 packaged for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Subscribers in the Extra and Premium tiers should see the title appear in their libraries on June 9, ahead of the service’s regular monthly refresh.
Sony plans to publish the full list of June additions on Wednesday, June 10. The remainder of the month’s new catalog entries is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, June 16. On June 10 the company will also reveal which games will leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in July.
The announcement notes the Destiny 2 listing amid broader changes as Bungie winds down major development on the game. Sony positioned the early listing as a Days of Play benefit for members who hold Extra or Premium plans.
Sony said PS Plus Premium Game Trials will begin on May 27 and will include more than 40 independent titles; the complete trial lineup is scheduled to be released the following day. Also on May 27, Days of Play promotions will offer up to 33% off the remainder of an existing membership when upgrading from Essential or Extra to Premium or Deluxe.
