Sony adds Final Fantasy 16 to June PS Plus lineup
Sony announced eight games for June PS Plus Extra and Premium, led by Final Fantasy 16, with staggered regional release dates and other titles including Sonic X Shadow Generations.
Sony has revealed the June 2026 PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium game lineup, naming eight titles led by Final Fantasy 16 for PS5.
PS Plus Extra additions are Final Fantasy 16 (PS5), Sonic X Shadow Generations (PS5, PS4), Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS5, PS4), Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PS5), Farming Simulator 25 (PS5), Blades of Fire (PS5) and Black Desert (PS5). PS Plus Premium will add Gitaroo Man for PS5 and PS4.
Release timing varies by market. Sonic X Shadow Generations is scheduled for June 10 in the US and UK and June 11 in Japan. Final Fantasy 16 and Gitaroo Man are set for global availability on June 16. Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life is Strange: Double Exposure will reach the US, UK and Japan on June 23. Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire and Black Desert will arrive in those three markets on June 30. Sony indicated that for regions not specified the full set will be available from June 16.
PS Plus Extra is the mid-tier subscription that provides access to an expanded library of PS4 and PS5 titles. PS Plus Premium adds features such as game streaming, a selection of classic titles and time-limited trials.
Subscribers should check the PlayStation Store or their console for exact availability and platform compatibility. Several June additions require a PS5 to run; Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Gitaroo Man are available on both PS4 and PS5. Sony updates the Extra and Premium catalogs monthly to add titles beyond the standard free games.
