Sony adds Final Fantasy 16, Sonic X and Gitaroo Man to PS Plus
Sony will add Final Fantasy 16 and Sonic X Shadow Generations to PS Plus Extra and the PS2 classic Gitaroo Man to PS Plus Premium in June 2026, with staggered regional release dates.
Sony has confirmed June 2026 additions to its PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs, naming Final Fantasy 16 and Sonic X Shadow Generations for Extra and the PlayStation 2-era Gitaroo Man for Premium. Several other titles will also join Extra across different regional dates during the month.
Final Fantasy 16 will be available on PS Plus Extra globally on June 16. Sonic X Shadow Generations launched in the United States and United Kingdom on June 10, will arrive in Japan on June 11, and will appear in other regions on June 16. Destiny 2: Legacy Collection 2025 is already available on PS5 and PS4 and is included in the Extra catalog.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life is Strange: Double Exposure will join PS Plus Extra on June 23 in the US, UK and Japan and on June 16 in other regions. Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire and Black Desert are scheduled for June 30 in the US, UK and Japan and for June 16 in other regions.
On PS Plus Premium, Sony will add the PS2 rhythm game Gitaroo Man, with a global release on June 16. Premium continues to offer legacy and classic titles, while Extra focuses on PS4 and PS5 games.
Sony’s June schedule uses staggered regional release dates for several games rather than a single global drop day. The company previously experimented with staggered rollouts, later moved to consolidated release dates, and has again scheduled different launch days for some titles in June.
Sony has not announced any titles leaving the PS Plus catalogs in July. Subscribers can check the service for availability by region and platform.
