Sony keeps EA Sports FC 26 on PS Plus until June 16
EA Sports FC 26 will be claimable on PlayStation Plus through June 16, extending its May availability while other May titles leave the service on June 2.
PlayStation will allow PS Plus Essential members to claim EA Sports FC 26 through June 16, the company announced on its PlayStation Blog. The extension adds two weeks to the game’s May availability while the rest of the May lineup follows the planned rotation.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols will exit the May lineup on June 2 as scheduled. Games added from the PS Plus Essential tier remain in a member’s library for as long as the subscription is active, so redeemed titles stay accessible while the subscription continues.
PlayStation said members who claim FC 26 will receive bonus Ultimate Team content: a Gold Starting XI Pack and three Iconic Players Picks. The company described those packs as starter items intended to help new players assemble an initial squad in Ultimate Team.
The extension and the bonus packs arrive ahead of the FIFA World Cup, which begins on June 11. PlayStation also provided early details about additions to the PS Plus Extra catalog for June.
Sony did not give a specific reason for the extended claim window beyond the scheduling change and the accompanying Ultimate Team packs. Days of Play subscription discounts remain limited to new and returning members.
