Sony removes PS5 listing for Indigo Prophecy on PS Plus
Sony updated the PlayStation Blog to retract a PS5 listing for Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit, confirming the July PS Plus Premium entry is the 2016 PS4 port.
A PlayStation Blog update removed a PS5 listing for Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit in the July PlayStation Plus Premium catalog. The post used the phrase ‘incorrectly stated’ to retract the earlier PS5 listing and clarified the version added is the 2016 PS4 port.
The catalog entry points to the existing PS4 release rather than a native PS5 build or an emulated release with current-generation features. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will receive the PS4 edition through the service.
The PS4 port is listed on the PlayStation Store at $14.99 and is not currently discounted. That edition has appeared in store sales for as little as $2. Players have reported performance and visual issues when running the PS4 port on PS5 through backward compatibility.
Indigo Prophecy, released as Fahrenheit in some regions, was developed by Quantic Dream and originally released in 2005. A PS4 version was published in 2016. Sony did not provide details about a dedicated PS5 version or future additions to the service’s catalog.
