Square Enix has eight unlisted videos on its Dragon Quest playlist ahead of Dragon Quest Day on May 27, with possible reveals of Dragon Quest XII, a Switch 2 DQ XI port and a DQ X expansion.
Eight unlisted videos have appeared on Square Enix’s official Dragon Quest playlist in the days before Dragon Quest Day, scheduled for Wednesday, May 27. The entries are marked unlisted and are not publicly viewable without direct links. Square Enix has not commented on the playlist additions.
The playlist items do not show public titles or descriptions. Observers and fan discussion have suggested the files could include a trailer for Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate, a version of Dragon Quest XI for Nintendo’s next console often called Switch 2, and an expansion for Dragon Quest X. Those possibilities remain unconfirmed by the publisher.
Square Enix previously identified the Nintendo Switch edition of Dragon Quest XI as Dragon Quest XI S and said that version includes full voice acting. The company also announced a demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 during an event at AEON Mall Makuhari Shintoshin, but gave no release date for the demo.
