Star Trek: Legends delisted from PlayStation Store

Star Trek: Legends, a role-playing game for PS5 and PS4 released in December 2024, has been removed from the PlayStation Store without prior notice. The delisting was first flagged by a member of the PSNProfiles community.

The title was developed by Emerald City Games and published on the PlayStation Store by QubicGames. It launched about 18 months ago. The exact date when it was removed from the PlayStation Store has not been confirmed.

A PSNProfiles user, Ryan Industries, noted that this is the fourth Star Trek title to be taken down from the PlayStation Store in less than a year. The only Star Trek entry still listed on the PlayStation Store is the decade-old PS4 multiplayer game Star Trek Online.

At the time of reporting, Star Trek: Legends remained available on other digital storefronts. There has been no public explanation from QubicGames, Emerald City Games or Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation delisting, and reporting has not identified legal, licensing or technical reasons.

The game’s storefront overview described its premise as putting players into the roles of heroes and villains from across Star Trek history and challenging them to control a mysterious Nexus. The overview states: “Step into the role of your favorite heroes and villains from across the history of Star Trek and embark on an epic space adventure to control the mysterious Nexus.” It also says: “Battle to save all of existence in Star Trek’s official strategy-based RPG.”

The removal coincides with an announcement from Sony that it will end production of some physical game discs. There has been no notice to PlayStation customers who previously purchased or downloaded Star Trek: Legends. Updates will be provided if QubicGames, Emerald City Games or Sony release further information.
