Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches with PS5 Pro support
Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches today on PlayStation 5 with PS5 Pro support. It is also available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The PlayStation 5 version supports the PS5 Pro.
Players take the role of Shade, a racer competing in the Galactic League, an unsanctioned circuit set during the New Republic era. The game includes single-player and multiplayer modes. Its campaign combines arcade races with scenario events in a roguelite structure designed for repeat play.
The game features landspeeders, speeder bikes and Skim speeders, a vehicle type introduced in Galactic Racer. Each class has different abilities, and computer-controlled opponents can use aggressive tactics during races.
The Standard Edition costs $59.99. The $79.99 Deluxe Edition includes an extra livery, three exclusive vehicles, three arcade trials, a player banner and a digital art book. Buyers of the Standard Edition through the PlayStation Store can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for $19.99.
The $159.99 Collector’s Edition is available through retail stores. It includes a code for the Digital Deluxe Edition, a Landspeeder model, pilot patches, a Kestar banner, a physical art book, a collector’s box, a custom slipcover and a Deluxe Edition steel case.
Galactic Racer is Fuse Games’ debut title. The studio was founded by racing-game developers with industry experience and announced the project at The Game Awards in 2025. The game is the first stand-alone Star Wars racing title since 2002’s Star Wars Racer Revenge.
