Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is available on the PlayStation Store for $3.99 until Aug. 27, 2026. PlayStation Plus subscribers receive an additional 5% discount at checkout, lowering the price to $3.49. After the sale ends the title will return to its regular price of $9.99.
The PlayStation 4 edition was produced by Aspyr Media. The developer updated controller inputs and increased the display resolution while keeping the original gameplay intact. Jedi Outcast first launched on PC on March 26, 2002, through LucasArts and Raven Software and was released for PS4 on Sept. 24, 2019.
The game blends first-person shooting with third-person lightsaber combat. Players take the role of Kyle Katarn, progress through 24 single-player missions and encounter four boss battles, including levels set in locations such as the cantina. The title offers 13 weapons, including a disruptor rifle, thermal detonators, trip mines and a Wookiee bowcaster. On the PlayStation Store the game holds an average user rating of 4.16 out of 5 from 2,307 ratings.
The current sale represents about a 60% reduction from the standard $9.99 price, with the additional PlayStation Plus discount applied automatically at checkout. The PS4 port preserves the 2002 version’s core content while making technical adjustments for modern controllers and displays.
The PlayStation Store description reads: “Rebel mercenary Jedi Kyle Katarn must battle the power – and dangers – of the Force in Star Wars Jedi Outcast. Through a multitude of complex and richly detailed Star Wars environments, players face a variety of powerful enemies and once again fight for the Rebel cause.”
