State of Play Confirms Xbox Versions of Dune and Tomb Raider

PlayStation’s June State of Play confirmed Xbox releases for Dune: Awakening (Sept. 22, 2026) and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis (Feb. 12, 2027).

PlayStation used its June State of Play showcase to confirm that several games announced for PlayStation will also ship on Xbox Series X|S. The company set release dates for Dune: Awakening on September 22, 2026, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis on February 12, 2027.

The broadcast listed additional cross-platform launches and dates. Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled for October 1, 2026, and was shown with new story elements, an additional realm, the return of Kung Foot and an expanded soundtrack. DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered is due October 1, 2026. Onimusha: Way of the Sword was dated September 25, 2026. Control Resonant is scheduled for September 24, 2026. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is due October 2, 2026.

Trailers and release-date cards were shown for each title, and Tomb Raider opened pre-orders during the stream. The broadcast included the line, “we are releasing single-player (and more) on the same day, on all platforms: September 22nd,” in reference to the Dune launch on consoles.

PlayStation displayed specific platform listings during each segment. Event materials did not announce extended platform-exclusive windows for the games that were dated during the showcase.

The schedule announced at State of Play concentrates many releases in late September and early October 2026, with Tomb Raider extending the slate into February 2027.
