State of Play June 2: New Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay
Sony’s State of Play returns June 2 with more than 60 minutes of updates, including new gameplay from Insomniac’s Marvel’s Wolverine, due on PS5 Sept. 15.
Sony will stream State of Play on Tuesday, June 2, with more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements and gameplay reveals from studios around the world. Insomniac Games will present new gameplay footage from Marvel’s Wolverine, a third-person action-adventure scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 on Sept. 15.
The broadcast begins at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 p.m. CEST on June 2 and will air at 6:00 a.m. JST on June 3. Viewers can watch live on YouTube and Twitch. The presentation will be in English and will include Japanese subtitles.
Sony announced the program will run for over an hour and will include updates, announcements and gameplay reveals from multiple developers. Insomniac’s segment is expected to highlight Wolverine’s combat and provide additional game details before the September release.
The company warned the broadcast may contain copyrighted material, including licensed music that Sony Interactive Entertainment does not control. Licensing agreements could interfere with co-streams or the availability of video-on-demand archives.
Creators who plan to save the stream as a VOD or to post recap clips are advised to remove any copyrighted music from reposted segments to avoid licensing issues.
