Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar launches on PS5 with DLC

Marvelous USA released Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar on PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store today and issued a 1.5 update that adds paid DLC, free quality-of-life changes and new in-game items.

The PS5 release is offered in three digital editions: standard for $49.99, digital deluxe for $59.99 and super digital deluxe for $69.99. Every edition includes a cosmetic “Cow Set”.

The digital deluxe edition includes the “Trunk of Transformation” DLC. The super digital deluxe edition adds the game’s soundtrack and a digital artbook alongside the DLC.

Marvelous USA timed the 1.5 update to coincide with the PS5 launch so new PlayStation players can access the latest content and fixes at release. The update introduces new paid downloadable content and a range of free updates, including quality-of-life improvements and extra items.

The PS5 release is available now on the PlayStation Store. To mark the launch, Marvelous USA partnered with Honey and Butter Macarons in California to offer themed treats tied to the game.

The official overview reads: “Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, and looking for a life of cozy comforts? Have a green thumb, a love for animals, and a desire for a breath of fresh mountain air? Consider making Zephyr Town your new home!” The overview describes Zephyr Town as a mountain community with year-round winds and a market that has “fallen on hard times,” and positions the player as someone who can help restore the town.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is a farming-simulation game that focuses on growing crops, caring for animals and participating in market activities. Marvelous USA did not list technical enhancements specific to PS5 beyond the content and quality-of-life changes included in the 1.5 update.

The game first launched on Nintendo Switch in 2025. The PS5 release gives players who did not purchase the Switch version another platform option and immediate access to the new DLC and free updates.
