Street Fighter 6 PS5 Update Adds DarkStalkers-Inspired Ingrid

The May 28 PS5 update for Street Fighter 6 adds four new skins for Sagat, C. Viper, Alex and Ingrid, including Ingrid’s Outfit 3, a maid costume inspired by DarkStalkers.

Capcom’s May 28 PS5 update for Street Fighter 6 adds four new character skins and brings Ingrid into the playable roster, alongside a new mode focused on user-created characters. The new outfits are for Sagat, C. Viper, Alex and Ingrid; Ingrid’s Outfit 3 is a maid costume inspired by Capcom’s DarkStalkers series.

The maid design references an interaction from older Capcom fighting titles. In the DarkStalkers entry Vampire Savior, the character Demitri has a special move called “Midnight Bliss” that alters an opponent’s outfit. A prior crossover compilation applied that effect to Ingrid, resulting in a maid costume; the new Ingrid skin in Street Fighter 6 echoes that visual gag.

Capcom listed the four outfits in the update notes released ahead of the PS5 launch window. The company says the skins will be available in-game and can be purchased with Fighter Coins or accessed through the current season’s Ultimate Pass. All four outfits will be offered for purchase shortly after the update goes live on PS5.

The update continues Street Fighter 6’s seasonal content program, which has added characters, modes and cosmetics since the game’s release. Capcom has rolled out platform-specific timing for some releases, with this batch scheduled on PS5 for May 28.

DarkStalkers debuted in the mid-1990s and has remained a reference point within Capcom’s fighting titles. The Ingrid maid outfit is one of several small cross-series callbacks that have appeared across the company’s fighting games.
