Street Fighter 6: Yasmine, Philippine Eskrima fighter, Aug 3

Capcom released a Street Fighter 6 gameplay trailer confirming Yasmine, a Filipino Eskrima fighter, will join the roster on Aug. 3, 2026 and is part of the Year 4 Character Pass.

Capcom released a gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6 announcing Yasmine as the next downloadable fighter. She will join the roster on Aug. 3, 2026 and is included in the game’s Year 4 Character Pass.

The trailer identifies Yasmine as coming from the Philippines and shows her using Eskrima, a Filipino stick-and-blade martial art, frequently wielding a karambit. Capcom designed her to apply pressure with fast movement and close-range attacks.

Footage emphasizes her mobility and mix-ups, with rapid strikes and weapon-based counters focused on close-quarters combat. Her kit centers on rushdown tactics that can control space and force tight exchanges.

In the trailer, Capcom described the character: “Hailing from the Philippines, Yasmine will rush you down with her skills in Eskrima on August 3! Pay close attention to her movement lest you be on the wrong side of her karambit.”

Players who own the Year 4 Character Pass or the Ultimate Pass will receive Yasmine automatically at release. Other players can purchase her separately using in-game Fighter Coins.

Yasmine is the first confirmed addition in Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 slate. Capcom also listed Arjun for autumn 2026, Bosch for spring 2027, and a guest character, Tifa from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy series, for early 2027. These fighters will be offered through character passes or individual purchase.
