Stuntman: Hollywood heads to Xbox; first new entry since 2007

Stuntman: Hollywood was revealed during the June 2026 State of Play broadcast and is confirmed to launch on Xbox. The developer presented a trailer and screenshots at the event.

The title returns to the series’ stunt-focused driving format. Players assume the role of an up-and-coming stunt driver who must execute precision stunts on set while following directions from a film crew.

Gameplay footage suggests a single-player structure similar to earlier entries: drivers must hit marks, perform drifts, clear ramps and navigate scripted high-speed chases to meet on-set requirements.

The reveal identified film and television sources for the stunts, citing examples such as Fast & Furious and Back to the Future. The presentation also included recognizable vehicles, including K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider.

Developers described the game as offering “legendary stunts” and emphasized timed precision driving, controlled crashes and cinematic set pieces rather than open-world exploration.

No firm release date was announced. Xbox is confirmed as a launch platform; the developer has not provided details about availability on other systems.

Preview clips shown during the reveal highlighted ramps, narrow precision sections and coordinated chase sequences. The announcement did not include specifics on camera perspective, damage modeling or multiplayer options.

The Stuntman series began in the early 2000s and last released a title, Stuntman: Ignition, in 2007 for Xbox 360. The developer indicated that more information, including a release date and a platform list, will be provided in future updates.
