Stuntman: Hollywood revives PS2 series with Universal cars
Saber Interactive revealed Stuntman: Hollywood at Sony’s State of Play, unveiling a trailer that features Universal-licensed cars from Fast & Furious, Back to the Future and Knight Rider for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Saber Interactive revealed Stuntman: Hollywood during Sony’s State of Play and released an official trailer. The studio confirmed the game is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC and that the project is produced in partnership with Universal.
The trailer presents staged movie shoots that place players behind the wheel of licensed vehicles. It features high-speed chases and set-piece stunts with recognizable cars, including K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and the DeLorean from Back to the Future. The footage ends by revealing the on-screen action as a filmed movie scene.
Saber said stunts and sets draw from Universal properties including Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice and Death Race. The studio framed the title as a cinematic stunt-driving experience that uses licensed vehicles and film-set presentation as key elements.
The original Stuntman was released in 2002 for PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance and was developed by Reflections Interactive. A follow-up, Stuntman: Ignition, appeared in 2007. Those games centered on a stunt performer completing scripted sequences for multiple films.
Saber has not announced a release date or a launch window. The studio has also not provided details on specific game modes, multiplayer options, progression systems, customization, technical specifications or pre-order availability. The trailer marks the first public look at Stuntman: Hollywood and confirms the platforms supported at launch.
