After its sixth weekend in theaters, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has earned $412.60 million in the U.S. and an estimated $941.2 million worldwide. Industry and studio estimates project a final global total between $1 billion and $1.1 billion.

Domestic box office receipts in the U.S. stand at $412.60 million. The worldwide estimate reflects weekend tallies from several international markets and ongoing U.S. theater holdovers.

Nintendo and Illumination co-produced the animated feature. The film incorporates elements from Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Wonder.

The film will be available for home digital rental and purchase on May 20 on the Apple TV Store and Amazon Prime Video.

The $941.2 million global estimate followed weekend box office reporting across key international territories. Analysts project the film will continue to earn while it remains in theaters abroad.
