Supergirl Stars in DC Universe Online’s Children of Krypton

Dimensional Ink and Daybreak Games will release Children of Krypton: Shadows Over Argo for DC Universe Online on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in June 2026. The multi-chapter arc centers on Supergirl as she pursues the villain Kryb to Argo, a Kryptonian city now resting on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean.

The story follows threads from last year’s Light and Rain arc, where Kryb first appeared. Kryb is linked to Lantern Corps storylines and to Guy Gardner. Developers noted Supergirl’s past connection to the Lanterns, including a period as a Red Lantern, drives her return to Earth to track Kryb.

Because Argo sits on the Atlantic seafloor, Atlantis and Aquaman appear in the story. The team expects players to encounter several Atlantean heroes and other characters the developers have not yet disclosed.

Dimensional Ink and Daybreak will continue the multi-chapter release format used for Light and Rain. The previous yearlong arc explored themes of loss, regret and redemption; the studio plans a similar structure for deeper character work and higher emotional stakes with Supergirl as the lead.

Developers flagged representation and character depth as priorities. DC informed the team early in development about an upcoming Supergirl film, which influenced creative choices. The developers wrote that the arc is ‘at its core, a Supergirl story’ and that they wanted to explore Supergirl’s grief, anger and feelings of not fitting in.

DC Universe Online on Xbox remains a free-to-play online action game with player-created characters who interact with established DC figures. The Xbox installer is roughly 63–64 GB. Certain online features are restricted for child accounts, defined as players under 13 unless local law specifies otherwise. The Xbox One release has previously included console-exclusive cosmetic items.
