Hamster Corporation will release Console Archives The Conveni 2 on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 3, 2026. The updated port will be sold for $11.99 on both platforms.

The Conveni 2 was first released in 1997 for the Sega Saturn, PlayStation and PC. The game is a convenience store management simulation presented from an isometric viewpoint and was primarily released in Japan.

The new Console Archives edition refreshes the game’s visuals with new maps and a revised camera viewpoint intended to align the look with modern isometric simulations. A trailer released by the publisher highlights the graphical updates and the changed perspective.

Gameplay options added to the port include a double-speed mode, the ability to create original store markers and the option to place game software among store products. Players can change screen layouts, apply CRT-style visual filters, use save states and set up customizable controls. Rapid-fire settings and other convenience features are included.

All in-game text in this release remains in Japanese. Hamster has not announced an English localization for The Conveni 2.

Hamster has previously reissued the first Conveni game on PlayStation 5 and has included other rare PS1 titles in its Console Archives program earlier this year. The original Conveni title is available on the PlayStation Store at the same $11.99 price point.

The trailer for Console Archives The Conveni 2 is available now and shows how the classic simulation plays with the added quality-of-life features.
