The Crew Motorfest adds RC Frenzy DLC with toy cars

The Crew Motorfest launches RC Frenzy today, a paid DLC adding toy-like RC cars with arcade handling, jumps, water driving and a bird’s-eye camera. $9.99/£8.99 or in the Year 3 Pass.

Ubisoft published RC Frenzy today as a paid DLC for The Crew Motorfest. The pack is developed by Ivory Tower and is available standalone for $9.99/£8.99 or as part of the Year 3 Pass.

The update introduces miniature remote-control vehicles that players can drive in the game’s open world. The RC cars use arcade-style handling and include the ability to jump and drive over water surfaces.

The DLC sets a default bird’s-eye camera that places gameplay in a near top-down view to mirror tabletop toy racing. An optional chase camera is available for a more conventional racing perspective.

Players who own the base game can switch between full-size vehicles and the new RC cars in the open world. A dedicated RC Frenzy playlist offers event-based challenges and unlockable rewards tied to the DLC.

The RC cars are tuned with faster, more responsive steering and exaggerated physics compared with standard Motorfest vehicles. Several playlist events are designed around jumps and water traversal that regular cars do not handle the same way.

RC Frenzy is available now to players who have The Crew Motorfest installed. Platform-specific availability and full patch notes are posted through Ubisoft’s official channels.

The DLC is part of the third year of post-launch content for The Crew Motorfest, following previous seasonal and specialty events from Ivory Tower.
