The Planet Crafter heads to PS5 and Xbox Series on July 21

Miju Games will release The Planet Crafter on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 21, 2026. The game is already available for wishlisting on the PlayStation Store; the developer has not announced a console price.

The console versions will run on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game supports single-player and cooperative play for up to eight players via PS Plus on PlayStation.

The Planet Crafter is an open-world survival and planetary engineering game. Players start stranded on a hostile world, gather resources, build a base, craft machines, and operate systems to raise surface temperature and convert the atmosphere to oxygen-rich conditions. Progress unlocks technology and facilities for larger-scale geo-engineering with the objective of making the planet habitable.

The developer described the game as a “chill” experience that emphasizes exploration, base construction and long-term progression over fast-paced combat. The game’s store description reads: “You are sent on a hostile planet with one mission: Make it habitable for Humans.”

The title first entered PC early access in 2022 and reached full release in 2024. On Steam the game holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating based on more than 36,000 reviews.

Miju Games released a console trailer ahead of the launch. The July 21 release will be the game’s first official availability on current-generation consoles.
