Three indie titles climb Xbox Store paid charts

Three newly released indie games — Escape the Backrooms, NBA The Run and Bellwright — are ranking high on the Xbox Store paid charts. Escape the Backrooms holds the number one spot ahead of EA Sports FC 26, 007 First Light and Forza Horizon 6. NBA The Run is at number eight, placed above NBA 2K26, and its Deluxe Edition is at number 24. Bellwright debuted at number 11 after its recent Xbox release.

Escape the Backrooms is a 1-4 player cooperative horror exploration game with more than 30 backrooms-style levels and hostile entities. The title is available on Xbox Game Pass. NBA The Run is an online 3v3 street basketball game focused on above-the-rim play, posterizing moves and player customization on street courts. Bellwright is a settlement-building action role-playing game in which players recruit villagers, manage resources and lead forces in combat; it was previously available on PC and has a 3.9 out of 5 rating on the Xbox Store from more than 100 reviews.
