Thymesia PS5 RPG drops to $7.49 in 75% off PS Store sale
Thymesia, a Victorian-era-inspired action RPG for PS5, costs $7.49 in a 75% off PlayStation Store sale through Thursday, Oct. 8.
The discount cuts Thymesia’s regular $29.99 price by $22.50. The game is scheduled to return to its regular price after Oct. 8.
Taiwanese independent studio OverBorder developed Thymesia. The game follows Corvus, a plague doctor and the last hope of the Kingdom of Hermes. Players explore areas affected by a plague, fight infected monsters and recover Corvus’ lost memories while searching for a cure.
The story takes place in a kingdom where alchemy was used to contain the disease. Efforts to control alchemy failed, causing the infection to spread and turning citizens into monsters. The kingdom falls into chaos, leaving Corvus to find a way to stop the outbreak.
Thymesia combines action RPG combat with soulslike features, including difficult enemies and boss fights. The game was released for PS5 in 2022 and received mixed reviews.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can access Thymesia through the service’s game catalog without buying it separately. Premium subscribers can also stream the game through the cloud.
