Time Crisis on PS5, PS4 Launches Without Trophy Support
Time Crisis is available on PS5 and PS4 but launches without PlayStation Trophy support, following several recent Bandai Namco re-releases that also lack trophies.
Time Crisis launched on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and is available as a standalone purchase on the PlayStation Store and through a PS Plus Premium subscription. Bandai Namco published the release but did not include PlayStation Trophy integration at launch.
Other Bandai Namco re-releases of PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2-era titles — including Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Tekken: Dark Resurrection and SoulCalibur 3 — also arrived on modern PlayStation systems without Trophy support. The publisher has not issued a statement about adding trophies or provided a timeline for a patch.
An editor covering the release noted, “You don’t need to be unlocking Trophies to enjoy a title — especially when you’re primarily playing for the sake of nostalgia.” Some players, however, use trophies as a factor in purchase and replay decisions, and the absence of trophy tracking removes that incentive.
Adding Trophy support after launch would require a software update and confirmation from Bandai Namco or the platform holder. Until an announcement, Time Crisis will remain playable on PS5 and PS4 without PlayStation Trophy tracking.
