TMNT: Splintered Fate adds final boss, launches Complete Edition

Super Evil Megacorp released the free King’s Gambit update for TMNT: Splintered Fate on PS5, completing the game’s primary story nearly three years after its initial launch. The update is available as a free download for existing owners.

The update adds the Rat King as the game’s final boss. Players must defeat Shredder multiple times and rescue Master Splinter before they can face the Rat King. During the fight the Rat King can summon other bosses, and the update places Pepperoni as an environmental presence around the players’ lair.

Alongside the free content, Super Evil Megacorp released paid DLC. A new character pack introduces Slash as the eighth playable character. Slash focuses on high damage and includes an Enraged mode that temporarily boosts movement speed and damage. The character pack also adds five new Artifacts to the game’s loot and progression systems.

A separate Samurai Armor Pack DLC adds new armor sets for the four original Turtles and for additional DLC characters, providing new cosmetic and build options for players who own those fighters.

Super Evil Megacorp is offering a Complete Edition for PS5 called the TMNT: Splintered Fate Platinum Bundle. The bundle includes Slash, Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam, Metalhead, Alopex, the Samurai Armors and every free update released to date.

Splintered Fate launched on smartphones in 2023 and was later released for PS4 and PS5 in 2025. The King’s Gambit update and the Platinum Bundle are available now for PS5 players.
