Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis confirmed for Switch 2, delayed

Amazon Games confirmed that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2, debuted a new trailer during Sony’s State of Play and postponed the game to Feb. 12, 2027.

The trailer shown during the broadcast included gameplay and story footage and listed Nintendo Switch 2 as a confirmed platform. The title had been scheduled for release this year before the publisher announced the delay.

Amazon Games announced the new February date to avoid releasing the game at the same time as the next Grand Theft Auto title. The publisher cited the competing launch window as the reason for moving Legacy of Atlantis to early 2027.

No detailed schedule for other platforms was provided during the presentation. The trailer did not disclose technical specifications, platform-exclusive features for Switch 2, preorder timing, or edition details.

Amazon Games presents Legacy of Atlantis as the next major entry in the Tomb Raider series, continuing to focus on protagonist Lara Croft and large-scale archaeological action-adventure gameplay.
