The announcement confirmed the remake will not launch in 2026 as previously expected. No reason for the delay was provided during the presentation.
Legacy of Atlantis is now scheduled in the same year as the next mainline entry, Tomb Raider: Catalyst, which the publisher lists for 2027. The State of Play did not offer new information about Catalyst.
The Feb. 12 date places the remake close to other high-profile releases planned for early 2027, including a reboot of Fable scheduled for February. The publisher did not comment on how the timing will affect marketing or sales.
