Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, built in Unreal Engine 5 and described as a reimagining of the 1996 original, will release for PlayStation 5 on Feb. 12, 2027. The standard edition is priced at $59.99. A Deluxe Edition at $69.99 includes 48-hour early access, allowing players to begin on Feb. 10.
Publisher materials list the contents of each edition. The standard version includes the full game and an early unlock of the Survivor outfit for pre-orders. The Deluxe Edition provides the full game with the 48-hour early start, an early unlock of the Parisian Fugitive outfit and a post-launch downloadable story pack.
A new trailer shown during Sony’s State of Play highlights rebuilt stages from the original game, naming locations such as Peru’s lost valley and the crumbling ruins of Greece. The footage displays dinosaur encounters, including creatures with feathered designs, and presents an updated Lara Croft model and revised environmental art.
The release date was confirmed after a set of PlayStation Store screenshots briefly appeared online and pre-order codes surfaced on retail listings. All pre-orders receive the Survivor outfit as an incentive at purchase.
The reimagining is part of the Tomb Raider franchise’s 30th anniversary program. Publisher notes indicate the project is intended to bridge the original 1996 adventure and later series entries. A separate new title, Tomb Raider: Catalyst, is scheduled for release next year.
