Tomodachi Life Fresh Kingdom 3D-Printed Switch Dock Cover
Instagram creator rocketlab_design 3D-printed a Nintendo Switch dock cover modeled on Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream’s Fresh Kingdom and posted blueprints on Makerworld.
Instagram creator rocketlab_design recently posted a 3D-printed Nintendo Switch dock cover that recreates the Fresh Kingdom supermarket from Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. The design includes rooftop lettuce and baguette displays and was shared in a short Instagram Reel. The creator also uploaded a build video documenting the assembly.
The cover is built from individually 3D-printed parts that assemble into a decorative shell that slides over an existing Switch dock. The listing notes the design fits both the original Switch dock and the newer model. The build video shows how the pieces connect and how the finished shell accommodates the dock’s ports and ventilation so the dock remains functional while dressed in the themed exterior.
rocketlab_design posted the blueprints on Makerworld, where hobbyists can download the files. The listing indicates the files can be adapted for different printers and materials, allowing others to reproduce the cover or modify the parts for their setup.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a Mii-based social simulation; the Fresh Kingdom is the in-game supermarket where players buy food items for their Miis. The dock cover is one example of fan-made accessories and replicas inspired by games. Fans continue to create physical versions of characters and locations despite platform-holder limits on sharing in-game content.
