Toy Story games return to PS5 and PS4 Oct. 15, 2026

Digital Eclipse will release Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3: Complete Edition digitally for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on Oct. 15, 2026. A physical double pack for PS5 that contains both titles will ship the same day.

Retro Roundup collects several older Disney/Pixar-licensed games into a single compilation, including the 16-bit Toy Story for SNES and Genesis; Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue (PlayStation); Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (PlayStation); Toy Story Racer (PlayStation); and A Bug’s Life (PlayStation). Digital Eclipse assembled the collection to make these legacy titles playable on modern PlayStation systems.

Toy Story 3: Complete Edition is a full remaster of the 2010 PlayStation 3 game. The original release combined a level-based platforming campaign with an open Toy Box mode that allowed players to explore and customise a Western-themed town. The PSP version of Toy Story 3 is a different release and is not part of this remaster.

Both titles will be available as digital downloads on PS5 and PS4. The PS5 physical double pack is exclusive to that platform. Some older entries, including Toy Story 2 and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, are already available to purchase on modern PlayStation systems.

Digital Eclipse is handling the restorations under license from the rights holders. The releases coincide with new films in the Toy Story franchise, including the upcoming Toy Story 5.
