Treyarch names PS5 ports for Black Ops, Xbox users confused

Treyarch announced that Iron Galaxy will port Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012) to PlayStation 5 in July, naming only PS5 in the studio’s post and offering no release timeline for Xbox or PC platforms.

Modern Xbox consoles already list both games through backward compatibility, but some Xbox owners report technical issues with those versions. Players have posted that the backward-compatible editions run at lower resolution than native releases and that online multiplayer on Xbox and PC experiences persistent cheating and hacking.
