Two Upcoming PS5 Games Offer Free Demos on PS Store

PS5 owners can now download free demos of The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline and The Eternal Life of Goldman from the PlayStation Store without a PlayStation Plus subscription. The Alighieri Circle is scheduled to release on Sept. 10, 2026; The Eternal Life of Goldman has no announced release date.

One O One Games developed The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline. Weappy Studio created The Eternal Life of Goldman, which is published by THQ Nordic.

The Alighieri Circle is a first-person psychological horror inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Players take the role of Gabriele Alighieri, who must protect his family as a dark threat grows. An official overview invites players to “immerse yourself in a dark, modern interpretation of the Divine Comedy, where the Inferno is a shadow waiting to consume you.”

The Eternal Life of Goldman is an adventure set across a group of islands. The player searches for a famous Deity that is never seen but does speak. The game’s overview says finding the Deity requires exploring the islands’ many hidden stories.

Both demos are available at no cost on the PS Store and do not require a PS Plus subscription. Early reactions from players who have tried the demos on the platform have been positive. The demos let users sample gameplay, tone and mechanics ahead of full release.

The Alighieri Circle’s Sept. 10, 2026 release date has been confirmed by its developer. The Eternal Life of Goldman remains without a firm release date. PS5 users can find both demos directly on the PlayStation Store.
