Unicorn Overlord 70% Off on PlayStation Store through Aug. 27

Sega-published Unicorn Overlord is 70% off on the PlayStation Store at $17.99 through Aug. 27. The game leaves the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog on Aug. 18.

Sega-published Unicorn Overlord is listed at 70% off on the PlayStation Store, discounted to $17.99 through Aug. 27. The price will revert to $59.99 after Aug. 27. The sale applies to the game’s cross-buy listing, so one purchase provides both the PS5 and PS4 versions.

Unicorn Overlord is scheduled to be removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog on Aug. 18. Subscribers will lose access to the title on that date unless they own it. The sale and the subscription removal occur on separate schedules: the subscription access ends Aug. 18, while the discounted storefront price remains available through Aug. 27.

The game was developed by Vanillaware and released in 2024. The PlayStation Store’s official description says the title combines tactical RPG combat with overworld exploration and features Vanillaware’s 2D art style.

On aggregate review site Metacritic the PS5 version holds an 86 out of 100 score. On the PlayStation Store the title has a user rating of 4.79 out of 5 based on more than 17,000 votes. The current $17.99 price is the lowest the game has been offered on the PlayStation storefront.
