Square Enix’s 2022 action RPG Valkyrie Elysium is 60% off on the PlayStation Store as a PS5/PS4 cross-buy for $23.99 through July 2; price returns to $59.99 afterward.
The PlayStation Store is offering Valkyrie Elysium at a 60% discount. The PS5 and PS4 editions are available as a cross-buy for $23.99 until July 2; the listing will revert to $59.99 after that date.
Valkyrie Elysium was developed by Soleil and published by Square Enix. It was the series’ first home console entry since 2006’s Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria; the franchise began in 1999. The official product description highlights the game’s “speedy, three-dimensional combat,” the inclusion of Einherjar and combo systems, and a soundtrack by Motoi Sakuraba.
Critical reviews at launch were mixed. On the PlayStation Store the title holds a 4.01 out of 5 rating based on more than 3,000 user ratings. Subscribers to PS Plus Premium can stream the game from that service’s cloud library.
The $23.99 sale price is the lowest recorded for Valkyrie Elysium since its 2022 release. Purchases completed before July 2 will receive the discounted price.
