Visions of Mana discounted 60% on PlayStation Store

Square Enix’s Visions of Mana is on sale on the PlayStation Store for $23.99 for the PS5 and PS4 digital editions, down from $59.99. The discount is about 60% and is available for a limited time.

PlayStation Plus Premium members can access a trial that allows up to five hours of play before purchase. The offer applies to the digital PS5 and PS4 editions only.

Visions of Mana is the fifth main entry in the Mana series. The game follows Val, a young swordsman who travels to renew the flow of Mana with his childhood friend Hinna, the newly appointed Alm of Fire. According to the game’s official description, “This game’s iconic vibrant and vast semi-open field contains adorable yet ferocious monsters, allowing you to enjoy swift three-dimensional battles using the power of the Elementals.”

Critical response has been mixed. Reviewers and players praised the game’s visuals and combat mechanics. Some critics found the story lacked the narrative depth of earlier Mana titles.

The Mana franchise began decades ago and includes several action-RPG entries developed or published by Square Enix. The current sale gives players a lower-cost option to buy the game digitally or, for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, to sample the first five hours via the trial before deciding to purchase.
