Volcano Princess arrives on PS5, free demo available
Volcano Princess, the parenting RPG that launched on Xbox in 2023, arrives on PS5. A free prologue demo up to the ‘Little Bird Day’ mission is on the PlayStation Store.
Volcano Princess, developed by Egg Hatcher with publishing support from Gamera Games, is coming to PlayStation 5. A free prologue demo covering the opening chapters through the ‘Little Bird Day’ mission is available now on the PlayStation Store.
The game places players in the role of a father raising his daughter in the Volcano Kingdom, a fantasy setting where smithing, magic and alchemy are common. Gameplay focuses on parenting mechanics: leveling the daughter, managing her school life and extracurricular activities, and making choices that affect character growth.
Those choices influence how the daughter develops and steer the story toward multiple possible endings.
“In a volcanic kingdom where smithing, magic, and alchemy flourish, you play as a father and guide your daughter as she grows up. Each and every choice you make will influence your daughter’s growth and lead the story to different endings,” reads the game’s official description.
Volcano Princess originally debuted on Xbox in 2023. The developer did not provide a full PS5 release date or details on additional content in the announcement. Players can download the prologue demo from the PlayStation Store to try the opening sequence before purchasing the full game.
