Warhammer Skulls 2026: New games, DLC and up to 90% off

Xbox’s Warhammer Skulls 10th anniversary showcased new game premieres, DLC and updates, plus Microsoft Store discounts up to 90% and Game Pass play windows.

Warhammer Skulls returned for its 10th anniversary with Xbox hosting a showcase of new Warhammer game premieres, downloadable content, updates and Microsoft Store discounts available across Xbox platforms.

The showcase premiered Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate — Deathwatch, introducing the Deathwatch as the player faction and showing multiple xenos enemies in the reveal trailer. Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 released on Xbox the same day, featuring gameplay and cutscenes that outline narratives for both the Necron and Adeptus Mechanicus factions and marking the first appearance of the Votann in a Warhammer 40,000 game. Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster debuted as a stealth-action side-scroller where players control a Skaven assassin; the title is scheduled for Xbox in 2027.

Existing titles received new content. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launched the free Purgation update, which adds a new PvE level, a battle barge Practice mode, new weapons and cosmetics; the Iron Hands Chapter Pack for Season Pass 2 owners was released alongside the update. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide announced a new playable class, the Skitarii of the Adeptus Mechanicus, due on Xbox and PC on June 23; Darktide is available on Game Pass Essentials. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader set a release date of June 11 for its third DLC, Infinite Museion, which adds a new companion and a Necron-aligned protagonist; the base game and its DLC are available on Xbox, PC and via Xbox Game Pass.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 showed extended gameplay featuring interactions between Nyra Veyrath and Malum Caedo; host Alanah Pearce will voice Nyra Veyrath in the game. Xbox Design Lab is offering Boltgun 2–themed controllers, including a Malum Caedo–styled standard controller and a Nyra Veyrath–themed Elite controller. Warhammer Survivors was confirmed for release on Xbox later this year, with new characters and levels shown; Speed Freeks and Warhammer Survivors will support Xbox Play Anywhere at launch.

Microsoft Store updates included the Bhashiva Character Pack for Total War: Warhammer 3, which adds Tiger Warrior units to Grand Cathay and a free Legendary Hero for owners; Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector added Ultramarines content; Talisman Digital 5th Edition released the Dead King Arises survival challenge; a Helldivers 2 and Warhammer 40,000 collaboration was announced as in development; and Rust on console received a Warhammer 40,000 Pack with Death Korps of Krieg–inspired gear.

Promotions tied to the festival include Xbox Free Play Days for Game Pass subscribers, which make titles such as Space Marine Master Crafted Edition, Rogue Trader, Battlesector, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters and Inquisitor Martyr available to try over the weekend. Titles available with Xbox Play Anywhere include Rogue Trader, Space Marine 2, Space Marine Master Crafted Edition and Darktide.
