Warzone delisted from PS4 and Xbox One on June 4
Activision will remove Call of Duty: Warzone from PS4 and Xbox One stores on June 4, close the in-game store on June 25, and keep the mode playable through Black Ops 7 Season 06.
Activision will remove Call of Duty: Warzone from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digital storefronts beginning June 4, 2026. The game’s in‑game store on those platforms will be disabled on June 25, and the mode will remain playable on PS4 and Xbox One until the end of Season 06 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
A support page for Call of Duty states that starting June 4 the company will begin “reducing the services for Call of Duty: Warzone” on both older consoles. After that date Warzone will not be available for download on PS4 or Xbox One, and the June 25 change will prevent further in‑game purchases on those systems.
Activision has not provided a firm end date for Season 06, but the publisher says players on PS4 and Xbox One will retain access to the mode for the remainder of the season, which is expected to run into late 2026. Once the season concludes, Warzone will no longer be playable on those legacy consoles.
The company outlined how purchases will be handled. Content acquired with COD Points, and COD Points themselves, can be accessed on current‑generation consoles within the same console family-for example, from PS4 to PS5 or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S. Items and purchases made with local currency are tied to the platform and will not transfer across console families; players who want to keep purchases should stay within the same PlayStation or Xbox ecosystem.
Warzone will remain available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The changes affect only PS4 and Xbox One as Activision prepares Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, scheduled for release later this year.
Warzone launched as a free‑to‑play battle royale and has been offered across multiple console generations and PC. The delisting applies only to the two older console platforms and does not affect other versions of the game.
