Weekend poll: Which games will you play June 20?

Staff at a Nintendo-focused outlet disclosed the games they plan to play over the weekend of June 20. The most-mentioned titles were Ocarina of Time, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Xenoblade Chronicles, Forza Horizon 6 and Slay the Spire 2.

Features Editor Jim Norman is replaying Ocarina of Time and wrote, “I’m up to the Forest Temple now (the score for which still creeps me out),” adding he may restart the game before a new edition arrives later this year. He also noted a 50% eShop discount on Lorelei and the Laser Eyes that includes a free Switch 2 upgrade.

Video Producer Mai Ladyman reported returning nightly to Rise of the Tomb Raider after producing a video review. She said she expects to continue collecting relics and exploring tombs over the weekend. Ladyman also described playing Forza Horizon 6 with her partner on non-Nintendo hardware, often using cars with Kirby or Animal Crossing liveries.

Reviews Editor Ollie Reynolds plans to play Xenoblade Chronicles as part of ongoing coverage and mentioned a possible replay of the mainline trilogy on Switch 2 later in the year. Editor Gavin Lane intends to run family sessions of Mario Kart World, try Joy-Con steering wheels with his children if they arrive, and fit in some Kirby and an Indiana Jones title between household chores.

Contributor Gonçalo Lopes recounted an unexpected viral moment while playing Virtua Striker 3 and said he will focus on imported and refreshed ports over the weekend, including Söldner X Complete Collection, Psyvariar 3, FZ: Formation Z and R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos. He identified The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales as his game of the week. Contributor Kate Gray wrote, “I will be playing Slay the Spire 2. Again. I’m sorry.”
