Witcher 3 DLC Songs of the Past Coming in 2027; No Switch

CD Projekt Red and Fools Theory announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past, a new expansion for The Witcher 3. The expansion is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027 and will not be released for Nintendo Switch.

The companies described the download as a brand-new expansion that returns players to the Path with Geralt of Rivia. They confirmed the platforms and the 2027 release window but did not provide a specific launch date, price, scope or detailed content.

Development work is concentrated on current-generation consoles and PC, the announcement noted, and the companies cited that focus as the reason for excluding the Nintendo Switch. No technical specifications or system requirements were shared.

The announcement follows long-running speculation about additional Witcher 3 content. The companies announced they will share more information in late summer.
