Wo Long 2 demo free on PlayStation Store until Sept. 30, 2026

Koei Tecmo has released a free Alpha demo for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember on the PlayStation Store, with the demo available across platforms through Sept. 30, 2026. The publisher released a new trailer alongside the demo that highlights the game’s combat, open-world map, characters and gameplay systems.
The timed Alpha demo allows players to use the character creation tools, join three-player online matches and explore the open field of Changban. Players can fight demons, test customization options and complete the demo to receive the in-game Fledgling Phoenix Helmet.
Team Ninja developed Wo Long 2 and Koei Tecmo is publishing the title. The sequel is set in 208 AD China and follows events after Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The story begins when the protagonist’s village and their friend Pang Tong are attacked by Cao Cao’s forces during the march to invade Jing Province. The protagonist then fights to clear the way for Liu Bei and later allies with Sun Quan in Jiangdong.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2027, for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Koei Tecmo is accepting pre-orders; the Standard Edition is priced at $69.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition at $99.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a Season Pass, a Season Pass bonus Creator God Armor Set, a digital artbook, a digital mini soundtrack and the Shitieshou Hat.
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have released large-scale demos for recent titles, including earlier entries and spin-offs, offering players early access to gameplay features before official releases.
