Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember headed to Switch 2 early next year
Koei Tecmo announced Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 early next year with Japanese and English voiceovers and subtitles in five European languages.
Koei Tecmo confirmed Team Ninja’s action RPG Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 early next year. Team Ninja developed the game and Koei Tecmo will publish it on the new console.
Koei Tecmo confirmed the Switch 2 release will include Japanese and English voiceovers. Subtitles will be available in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
The publisher released a debut trailer that shows environments, combat and several large enemy encounters. The trailer is the first public reveal of the Switch 2 version.
No firm release date was given beyond “early next year.” The announcement did not include technical details such as file size, performance targets or controller features.
At launch the title will support two voice tracks and five subtitle languages. Precise timing, pricing and pre-order information have not been shared.
The original game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, is not available on the Switch or Switch 2. That entry is available on Xbox Game Pass and has been played by more than five million players across platforms.
During the same Xbox showcase, publishers confirmed Crazy Taxi: World Tour and Spyro: A Realm Beyond for Switch 2, both slated for 2027.
Koei Tecmo plans to provide a firm release date and further details on platforms, editions and launch pricing in the coming months.
