Wuthering Waves to Give Away Rebecca in June Edgerunners Crossover

Wuthering Waves will give players a free 5-Star Resonator Rebecca in June during its Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover; Lucy will be available only through gacha pulls.

Wuthering Waves will add Cyberpunk: Edgerunners characters in June, with 5-Star Resonator Rebecca distributed to all players at no cost and Lucy available only through standard gacha banners. A new in-engine trailer shows both characters arriving in the game’s Solaris area and confirms the crossover’s June start.

The trailer offers the first close look at Rebecca and Lucy rendered in the game’s engine, showing detailed facial expressions, clothing and animations that match their anime designs. The footage focuses on arrival and presentation and does not include full combat demonstrations.

Rebecca will be issued to players for free when the crossover begins; Lucy will be obtainable by pulling on gacha banners. Specific drop rates, banner schedules and event timing have not yet been published and are expected to be released before the crossover goes live.

The update is expected to include Cyberpunk-inspired quests and timed events that integrate the crossover theme into Solaris and surrounding game systems. The trailer gives a brief cameo of David Martinez from the anime; he appears in the sequence but is not shown as a playable character.

Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action RPG that distributes new playable characters and equipment through gacha mechanics. An ongoing anniversary event is currently granting free pulls, which players can use to build currency ahead of the June release.

The trailer includes the line, ‘Come, wander with me through the ever-unceasing dream,’ which plays over the characters’ arrival in Solaris. Developers have not released additional commentary or combat previews; further details are expected closer to the crossover launch.
