Xbox CCO Names Late‑2026 First‑Party Release Order

On the Official Xbox Podcast, Xbox Chief Content Officer Matt Booty presented a proposed sequence for Xbox first‑party releases in late 2026. He listed Halo: Campaign Evolved first, followed by Minecraft Dungeons II, Gears of War: E‑Day and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Booty added that additional titles will follow those four.

Booty did not attach exact release dates to every title during the episode. Proposed timing that would match the order includes a possible July release for Halo: Campaign Evolved, August for Minecraft Dungeons II, September for Gears of War: E‑Day and an October release for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which already has an October window. With those dates, no new Xbox first‑party releases are currently listed for November or December 2026.

The comments came after Xbox announced a delay of Fable to February 2027. Xbox Game Studios head Craig Duncan described the end of the previous year as “almost too hectic for new first‑party releases,” a remark the company has linked to its scheduling approach.

Xbox has said it will provide more details at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase and that some announcements may be reserved for that event.
