Xbox Free Play Days: Gears Reloaded, Dying Light, High on Life 2

Xbox is holding Free Play Days from Thursday, May 28 through Sunday, May 31. Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential members can access Formula Legends and Dying Light: Definitive Edition. Gears of War: Reloaded is free for all Xbox members under the Free Play Days for All banner, and High on Life 2 is available to all members as a five-hour timed trial.

Formula Legends is offered to Game Pass members and is optimized for Xbox Series X|S. The title supports Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere and features reimagined circuits and historic cars across multiple eras of motorsport.

Dying Light: Definitive Edition, available to Game Pass members for the weekend, is a first-person action survival game set in an open world affected by a contagious outbreak. The Definitive Edition package is the version included in the event.

Gears of War: Reloaded is a remaster of the original Gears of War. The release is optimized for current consoles, supports Xbox Play Anywhere, and includes post-launch campaign content, multiplayer maps, characters and cosmetics at no extra charge.

High on Life 2 is offered as a five-hour timed trial for all Xbox members. The title is optimized for Xbox Series X|S and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. Where supported, titles may also be available through PC Game Pass.

To start playing, members can open a game’s detail page on Xbox.com, which links to the Microsoft Store. Users must be signed in to see the option to install with an eligible Game Pass membership. On console, navigate to the Xbox Store, select the Subscriptions tab and open the Free Play Days collection on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

Players who purchase a game during the event keep the Gamerscore and achievements they earned while playing during Free Play Days. Microsoft is offering limited-time discounts on the featured titles for players who buy during the promotion. Listed promotional prices include Formula Legends from $19.99 to $13.99, Dying Light: Definitive Edition from $49.99 to $9.99, Gears of War: Reloaded from $39.99 to $31.99, and High on Life 2 from $59.99 to $47.99.

Xbox warns that discount levels, percentage reductions and title availability may vary by region. The Free Play Days titles are available across supported Xbox consoles and, where noted, through Xbox Play Anywhere and PC Game Pass.
