Xbox Free Play Days May 14-17: Battlefield 6, JDM, Bassmaster

Xbox Free Play Days runs May 14-17, letting players try Battlefield 6, JDM: Japanese Drift Master and Bassmaster Fishing; Game Pass membership may be required.
Microsoft is offering Xbox Free Play Days from May 14 through May 17, during which Xbox owners can download and play Battlefield 6, JDM: Japanese Drift Master and Bassmaster Fishing at no additional cost for the event window. Each title is available on the Xbox Store for the duration of the promotion.
Some Free Play Days releases require an Xbox Game Pass membership. Microsoft has not specified which tier applies to each title; the store pages list whether Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate is needed. Players should check the individual Xbox Store entry for access requirements and any regional or account restrictions.
Battlefield 6 is the highest-profile entry on the lineup. JDM: Japanese Drift Master launched on Xbox in November 2025. Bassmaster Fishing offers a simulation-style fishing experience with tournament mechanics and competitive scoring.
Each game is discounted on the Xbox Store during the sale period: JDM: Japanese Drift Master at 40% off, Battlefield 6 at 45% off and Bassmaster Fishing at 80% off. Buying a game during or after Free Play Days converts temporary access into permanent ownership.
To participate, open the Xbox Store on an Xbox console, search for the game and choose the option labeled “Install, Included with Game Pass” or “Free Trial” to download. The titles remain playable only within the May 14-17 Free Play Days window unless purchased.
For exact start and end times, membership details and any additions to the lineup, check the Xbox Store or console notifications during May 14-17.
