Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2026 presented a two-hour program focused on Xbox-related trailers and release information. The event opened with a flatscreen remake of the VR shooter Arizona Sunshine announced for PC and consoles. Archetype Entertainment closed the show with an extended EXODUS gameplay reveal; director Chris King walked viewers through the sci-fi RPG’s story structure, player choices, combat systems and companion mechanics. EXODUS is slated for early 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Sinking City 2 received a release date of August 18, 2026 and a Steam demo is available.
Several titles launched immediately after their trailers. Gothic 1 Remake and the martial-arts roguelite Realm of Ink released on PC and consoles. Update The Third Sin for Blasphemous 2 was released during the showcase and is live on all platforms. Forever Skies will receive a major update called The Final Echoes on July 27 and will arrive on Xbox the same day. Fading Echo will release on PC on July 21 with console editions later in 2026.
The showcase provided firm dates for other releases. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is due July 9 following a developer deep dive. The Alters: Last Variable expansion arrives July 13. Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy extraction title, is scheduled for July 29 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns and Duskfade carry August 13 release windows. Don’t Fret is set for October 1, 2026. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser Revival is planned for 2026. The Road of Dust and Sorrow is listed for PC and consoles with a forthcoming date.
Playable demos and tests were announced. Steam demos for Marsupilami 2 and BioEden are available. The Sinking City 2 posted a demo, and several smaller titles offered playable previews. THE LIFT: Supernatural Handyman Simulator will run a closed playtest on Steam starting June 14. My Cannibal Family held a live playtest on Steam ahead of a planned 2027 release. Aniimo, a creature-collecting RPG, is targeted for Q3 2026 across platforms.
